Businesses that run the same Perkville reports every week or every month can now automate that work.
Perkville reports can now use a previous period, such as the previous 7 days or previous month, instead of a fixed date range. You can also schedule reports to run automatically every week or on the first day of the month.
Together, these updates make it easier to receive recurring reports without changing filters or manually running the same report each time.
You can now select a relative reporting period instead of entering specific start and end dates.
For example, you can run a report for:
The period is recalculated each time the report runs, and the report’s run date is not included.
This is especially useful for scheduled reports. A report that runs every Monday can automatically include data from the previous 7 days. A report scheduled for the first day of each month can cover the previous month.
Reports can now be scheduled to run:
The scheduled report uses all of the filters selected when the schedule is created. This includes filters such as locations.
Each automatically generated report will honor those same filters. When the report is complete, you will receive an email with a link to view it.
This removes the need to log in, update the date range, reapply filters and run the same report manually each week or month.
A manager who reviews referral performance every Monday could set up a Referral Details report with a previous 7 days filter.
They could also select the locations, location groups, referral statuses they want included. Perkville would then run the report automatically each Monday using those filters.
Once the report is ready, the manager would receive an email with a link to view it.
Recurring reports can help teams monitor referral activity, points, redemptions and other program data while reducing manual reporting work.
